Hi- I just read another great article that talks about a silver lining of this economy- dads who are being laid off are spending more time with their children and it is changing how they feel about THEIR work-life balance. Many dads who have been forced into the stay-at-home parent role are looking ahead with a fresh perspective- they don’t want to accept a job that requires crazy hours anymore. They WANT to be more available for their families- having experienced that availability for the first time.
I think this tough economy is a wonderful time for moms AND dads to rethink their priorities and values. Assuming you are married- if there is a way for you and your spouse to better balance parenting and work you enjoy, would you want that?

Bria,
I am really enjoying your blog. I am curious about who you hired as a business coach, if you care to share.
