I find that when I’m at my craziest, I need meditation the most. It’s what centers and calms me. Yoga is one avenue of meditation. On non-yoga days, however, I find that 10-15 minutes of meditation is what I need to react in healthy ways to life stresses- as opposed to OVER-reacting.
We all over-react sometimes, but those who do it regularly, I can guarantee you, do NOT mediate regularly! It’s practically impossible to be a regular meditator and regular “over-reactor”- the two are on opposite extremes. AND, it’s not that hard to meditate once you recognize the amazing benefits and you refrain from overthinking it.
