We just got back from a 12-day ski trip with our three children, Cameron (14), MacKenzi (11) and Jaden (7).  The five of us adore skiing and Jaden can now ski the “big stuff” with us.

It was such a nice trip- fun with our kids and my parents and extended family- but also a needed vacation.  Our business is growing so rapidly that I sometimes forget the enormous restorative power of an extended break from work.  I re-fuel, re-energize and re-gain appreciation for my business of helping others grow their businesses.

The cycle of life and work is interesting.  Without breaks, work becomes too much.  With the right pace, work is truly a joy.
