For Halloween, Mark and I decided to surprise our friends in NJ and our children with a surprise trip.  We packed our kids and told them we were headed to my brother’s for brunch and arrived at the airport instead.  They were thrilled to see their NJ friends and family, as were we.

The fun part for Mark and I was dressing up as our good friends and showing up at their party as… them!  Mark grew 6 inches thanks to his platform shoe invention.  And, in addition to my blond transformation, I created revolutionary breast implants- socks! (I’m pretty sure that is what was used in the olden days).

We all had such a fun weekend and yet, we almost didn’t go.  Why?  The same reason we all use to avoid having fun- we were “too busy”, it was “too expensive”, it was “too much to plan”.  Well, guess what?

We have to keep fun in our lives and spend time with people we love – to enjoy living!  Life is just too short not to have fun with people you care about.

That’s the bottom line.

So, let’s all agree to keep having fun as we grow our businesses, shall we?
