It’s been a roller coaster around here lately. Can anyone relate?
I’ve had some big successes with some fabulous, motivated solo entrepreneurs enrolling in my high-level platinum coaching program- before I even gave a preview call to encourage enrollment. That was a high. Then, the lows came when my shopping cart system messed up my preview call by changing the phone number and then sending out an incorrect link for the recording- twice! I looked like a bozo- and it was beyond my control.
Having said all that, with the help of some deep breathing (and eating nachos, my comfort food of choice), I remind myself that perfectionism is unattainable. People and systems make mistakes. It’s not the end of the world and it’s all fixable. People see me more as “human” when I reveal imperfections- whether I want to reveal them or not!
So, if my recent blunders can serve as inspiration to you- that ups and downs are a part of life- and a part of business, then that is a good thing.
When mistakes occur, we just need to learn from them, hold our heads high, and keep marching forward! (Oh, and eat nachos).
If you have some more tips to share, please do!
