Many coaches and entrepreneurs come to me with brilliant ideas and concepts and yet they struggle with explaining their expertise. If they feel like an expert in any one area they aren’t comfortable showing it.
Does this sound familiar?
If you want 6-figure, and multi 6-figure success, you MUST clearly integrate and express your UNIQUE expertise. You have to KNOW your walk, and then walk it, before you talk it!
Here is a simple exercise to launch into 6-figure expert status- quickly:
1) Think about your ideal client. Describe every detail you can about him or her- age range, personality, work, core challenges in business and in life- everything you can muster up.
2) Why should your ideal client hire YOU to help them? In what ways do you excel in helping that client? Think about what you do well AND you enjoy. Describe.
3) Now, picture that ideal client after working with you for 6 months to one year. How is s/he different? How has s/he been transformed? What is better now for him/her? Describe in detail.
4) What would that client tell you is the BIGGEST change for them in their life or business- as a result of working with you?
Your answers to these questions will help you hone in on your expertise. And when discover your UNIQUE expertise, and begin to walk YOUR walk, your talk must follow- loud and clear.
The external side of your marketing- what potential clients and customers see- is NOT the time to be shy. It’s the time to SHINE and SHARE the best of what you can offer your clients. Be sure that your authentic expertise is splashed on your website, blogs, and in all of your marketing.
